Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the customer dining experience. We are looking for the following:
• Point of sale system experience – responsible for cash transactions, including refunding customers, providing discounts, and comping items, which requires proficiency with the restaurant’s Toast POS system
• Organizational skills – ability to juggle many responsibilities at a time, so top-notch organizational skills and prioritization skills are critical for running successful shifts
• Training – experience training new staff is preferable
• Leadership skills – keep staff on task, motivated, and focused. Resolve staff conflicts and customer’s concerns
• Ensuring each shift is properly staffed is essential to running a successful restaurant. Assign waitstaff based on anticipated demand. Direct staff to handle unexpected situations and customer concerns throughout a shift as needed.
• Customer service – dedication to providing excellent customer service and improving the customer experience
• Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly, maintaining positive guest relations at all times.
• Maintains kitchen by keeping area tidy and clean and stocks kitchen and bar at the end of each shift
• Inventories food, supplies and equipment weekly. Request supplies as needed
• Ensure complete knowledge of all beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Management – hiring, firing, training, and disciplining staff
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate
• Excellent punctuality and attendance
• 1+ year’s restaurant experience is preferred; however, we will consider all eligible candidates with a willingness to learn and work hard for the team.
